Welcome to Millie and Monkey Shop!
My name is Claire and I love to create. I started crocheting in college when my roommate taught me. I began with blankets as a project to keep my hands & mind busy, but Millie and Monkey has blossomed into so much more than that! ​Now, I enjoy creating stuffed animals and other fun items that add pops of fun and color wherever they are found. My intention with these products is to share a smile and handmade love! Millie and Monkey also supports a nonprofit - Operation Shower! Learn details about this partnership on the "About" tab.

How did Millie and Monkey Shop get its name? 

I was born on my great-grandma Mildred's birthday. Several people thought I should be named Mildred to carry on her legacy, but my parents thought Claire was a better fit for me, so they named my teddy bear Mildred.   Mildred was shortened to Millie, and the rest is history. 

My grandpa nicknamed me Monkey when I was a little girl. My climbing and jumping skills were unparalleled - not anymore, but the nickname stuck! 

Today, Millie and I (Monkey) work hard to create one of a kind items that will be cherished for years to come.
